This beautiful villa was built in 2007 according to the principles of ecological sustainability and passive construction. The house was designed and built by Mr. Ranko Keindl, graduate engineer, for his daughter Vanja Keindl of Civil Engineering and Master of Technical Sciences, doyen in the professional field of rational use of energy and of thermal protection, known to a wide professional public in Croatia and abroad.

Vanja Keindl, the owner of the villa, is also a civil engineering graduate with significant experience with international experience who currently lives and works in Zagreb. She is the owner and director of the company KEINDL BAU which deals with solving the problems of decarbonization and climate change through the building sector. Outside Keindl is a permanent court expert for construction, is an authorized designer and an authorized energy certifier for complex systems, authorized thermographer with an international ITC Level 1 license, planning manager and implementation of EU projects, and the author of numerous professional works in this area. She is the mother of two adult children.

Today, the house is available to numerous guests who come from all over the world, and it is interesting that they are the first guests at the opening were the German Rally team.

Welcome to paradise

The house is one of the first in the city where solar collectors were installed. Engine room and pool equipment they are made of the highest quality components on the market. The pool was completely renovated in 2023. year. New fittings and concrete slabs, complete pool equipment and high-quality ceramics were installed quality.

A new firebox imported from Italy with the ability to regulate the air flow is installed in the fireplace. All windows are energy efficient, and the blinds are controlled electronically. The parquet, floors and staircase are made of the highest quality oak. The garden has an area of over 800 m2 and from the entire garden there is a view of the city, the forest and the mountains. In the garden there is a large charcoal grill with running water and a canopy. In the heated conservatory, which is connected to the large living room, there is also a barbecue, which can be used all year round regardless of weather conditions.

In the warmer months, you can make use of the barbecue facilities and dine on the private patio.

You can play billiards, table tennis and darts at the villa, and the area is popular for skiing and cycling. WOLKENHAWK has an outdoor fireplace and a children’s playground.

Technical Museum in Zagreb is 5.2 km from the accommodation, while Cvjetni Square is 5.8 km away. The nearest airport is Zagreb Franjo Tuđman Airport, 21 km from WOLKENHAWK.
